Los Angeles Lakers at Seattle SuperSonics 10:30 pm EST

    Seattle +5 (2 Units)

It’s now or never for Seattle. They are another team that is mathematically alive for the playoffs, but they need help. A return home should help. Seattle has played 8 of their last 11 games on the road. As a matter of fact, in March, Seattle ended up playing an NBA-high 11 road games, losing seven. However, the Sonics were never blown out in any of those games. Their 3 most recent home games were all easy wins and despite their 3-game losing streak, they have been playing very well. They had a 7-game winning streak prior to these last 3 road games. The Lakers have won 10 straight but they might be a little to used to the Staples center as their last 9 games have been played there (one as a road game against the Clippers). In their last 7 road games, they are 4-3 but two of those wins were by 3 points with none of the 4 being by more than 7 points. They are just 12-25 ATS on the road this season. Seattle has covered 5 of the 7 meetings between the two clubs the last two seasons. They are 2-2 ATS at Los Angeles but they are 3-0 ATS at home and making that more impressive, they were dogs in all 3 games and won all 3 outright. The home team has won the last 8 meetings. Los Angeles is just 4-14 ATS against teams in the Pacific Division this season.
