We have a big bounce back day planned in NCAA and NBA Action Saturday. In NCAA hoops we have a 5 Star Power Play along with a 3 Star Regular. In NBA action we are quietly starting to pick up a little momentum. Off all the Sports, this NBA season has by far been the most challenging for us during the 2003/2004 seasons. We did not make excuses, we just played very few games over the last 2 1/2 months and focused 100% on NCAA hoops where we have had a pretty successful season. The time has come to pick it up in the NBA starting tonight as we have One 4 Star Total (See Below) and Two 3 Star Regulars (One side, One Total) going. Get the full day's card for just $14.00. UCONN

Bama as been out rebounded 84-56 the L2 while UCONN has out rebounded opponents over the same period 88-56. Bama was fortunate to catch a less athletic Syracuse and Stanford team. UCONN will match the athletic ability. As I see it, Bama's only chance is to hit everything beyond the arc where they shoot a solid 38% for the season. I expect UCONN to defend the perimeter better than previous teams. One and done for Bama will get the UCONN running game going. Okefor and crew to the final four in fine fashion today.

Not counting my money yet with UCONN but lets get going on the next match up

3 Star Play Oklahoma State

This promises to be a terrific game with two tremendous teams going at it. It is actually difficult to make a case to go against either one of them, they match up very well from a statistic standpoint. Both teams have scored and given up on average the same amount of points over the course of the season. (77 PF, 62 PA) The biggest advantage I can pin point is not in the Stats but in the match ups. Oklahoma State presents difficult match up problems for every team they seem to face. Okie State can match St Joe's at the offensive end, but can St Joe's match Okie State rebounding and defense? Okie State has the edge in both rebounds per game as well as Opponent rebounding stats. I see both the match-up issues Okie State presents and rebounding as the difference with these two evenly matched teams. Oklahoma State quite simply has just been beating teams at their own game when needed. We have been riding St Josephs quite a bit this year but like Oklahoma State to move on to the final four today with a narrow 4 to 6 point victory. 3 Star Regular Selection

Just missed with Okie State but what a hell of a finish. 2-3 on the day but did cash our 5 Star with UCONN and 4 Star with the Sonics/Blazers Over the Total. Will check back in the morning when the complete NBA numbers are posted with a play.
