  • Wayne Root Story

At a little after 9:00 on Friday night as I was about to go out to get a bite to eat, I happened to see on CNBC that Wayne Root had just come out to do an interview with comedian/sports analyst Dennis Miller.
After listening to Root yack about himself(in essence he said "I am so great in everything I say and do.") the topic came around to the NCAA Tournament.
When Miller asked who would go far in the tournament, Root stated that he thought "the smart kids" would do well, and two of the schools he alluded to were Stanford and Gonzaga;enough said.
To change the subject a bit, am I the only one who thinks Root is awful as a public speaker?
The reason I say that is just watch the way he flails his arms and hands and continually points his fingers to make points;the way he does it makes me think he is a paraplegic and/or is spastic, and it certainly is a distraction and takes away from what he is trying to say.
Arms, hands and fingers can be effective in speaking if used properly but not if overdone which I think as the case here.
To be perfectly honest I never was a big Root fan anyways and find his overall demeanor obnoxious.

S49erman-one of the reasons I don't know when he will be on is that I don't care;this was strictly by accident.
I would say that during football season it is a good bet that you could find "Mr. Arrogance" on one of the Sat. morning handicapping shows.

I agree savage it would just be funny to see. Makes me sick to think that a regular show would have him on tv..... makes him seem legit.

Root also implied that Bush is pretty much a lock to win the election since they have $150 million of campaign money in the till.

its a shame with so many good cappers this guy makes it to the tv set. i dont even like it when him or his cronies are on the same side as me. i get a kick out of it though when someone requests him or nsa 20 star. SCAMMERS HAVE BEEN BURYING PEOPLE FOR YEARS.

One of the funniest things is when Root tried and failed to sue several years ago to prevent consensus services from giving out his plays.
A supposed smart guy like Root should have realized that since the activity over which he sued(gambling) is illegal in every state except Nevada, he had virtually no chance of winning.
I mean there are no patents here;one is merely giving out the names of teams as information only since gambling is illegal to begin with.

Art-the best line the other night was when Root says he spends a lot of money and hires folks to find out who people are taking in their office pools and simply go the other way.
I suppose there is some merit in that but to talk about it like it is the most important think made me laugh.
Why pay him, when all one has to do is just go to bettorschat and go against the consensus of the paid cappers?

it's all psychology.....just like your wayne root story the way he talks with finger pointing and flaying arms, it's all part of the game to convince lure and ultimately steal

there are some reputable services but not many.....

Savage, the best part of Root's TV show in the fall is the shots of him getting out of his "private" helicopter and entering "his" million dollar mansion. His claims are so ridiculous, it's actually quite entertaining.
How's this for a scenario: All of us BChat guys are on a talk show. The host asks us how we come up with so many winning picks. Easy we say. We simply log onto the Service Plays section of the BChat website and find out what selections a guy named Wayne Root has. Then WE "simply" go the other way!
