Intraware -what you said is so true over time.
People can come up with brilliant analyses of games, and sometimes the game plays out for the most part until the fourth quarter.
But as you, I and just about everyone knows, the ball can take some funny bounces, and strange things happen which sends our bets down the toilet.
As one very good capper once said after several losses of this nature, "I can only handicap the games;I don't go out and play them."
Again, what you said is something every gambler knows and NO service of bettor has a monopoly on the breaks ALWAYS going his way.

I am going out to celebrate St. Pattie's day now. However, Ty I am dead serious about this head to head thing. If someone can come up with a reasonable way for us to BOTH post up the money then its me and you over 20 games for 5k (each) - winner take all. It would be great if we could just do this over the NCAA tournament.

Buzzard where did you get the notion Jack Price ever went to jail, or Kevin Duffy for that matter?
See I can tell you know nothing of sports, Price paid out 11 million dollar's, 7 million to the IRS and 4 million in a fine, he got 2 years probation and was off probation two years ago, he never spent a day in jail. Duffy was never ever arrested for anything to do with sports or bookmaking. What Price did was run an offshore sportsbook, his only fault was that he didn't take citizenship in Curacao where the sportsbook was. If he would have taken citizenship, the United States never could have prosecuted him. And he was found guilty of Section 1084 wire and fraud act, because they were having clients send money to bet in Curacao to a St Louis Western Union in Missouri, If they had sent the money directly to Cuaracao he probably never would have been caught and never would have been prosecuted for wire and fraud act. Jeff Allen on the other hand did the same thing Price did and he got 5 years in Federal Prison at Nellis Air Base here in Las Vegas. He also could have received only probation but they offered him a 3.7 million dollar fine or the five years, he didn't have the money so he took the five years. He gets out in April of 2006.

So if you don't know FACTS, don't state what you dont know! As far as going toe to toe with you, I would prefer the odds on the 70% like you quoted opening your big mouth! Other than that I wouldnt waste the time of day betting 100 plays for 2500, thats 25 bucks per play, I spend more than that at subway for lunch. Now if you want to go toe to toe based on 2500 per play at Millionairesportsbook.com that's fine with me.

You are right, this blabberng with Ty is usless, he is as crafty as he is hefty..

BUT..the competition at a neutral book is very interesting and of great value for Mr.Gaston. Just think if he wins this competition, the marketing angle is somthing he is licking his chops at.

What they should do is go to a book like Oly, where BC can monitor the games and the accounts. There has to be an intermediary to make this fair. Ty could fictitiously claim to put in money and really risk nothing.

Gotta be some rules, but getting this competition worked out sounds interesting and I hope it happens!

In all due respect I would love to see some kind of challenge match with results monitored.
I started this whole discussion and obviously for personal reasons, as well as for all who are curious, would like to see this played out to its conclusion in a reasonable and fair manner.
I don't think that is asking too much.
If Ty emerges as the clear winner, then more power to him.
I am not taking Ty's side by any means here, but lets face it, if a person wants to defend himself against charges made(in this case handcapping skills), he should have a right to defend himself.
I personally see no other way in this instance than by a documented handicapping contest. jmho

buzzard....i wasnt hyping the guys or their services....i dont know their track record and i dont follow them but their articles on their site make sense...and those arent BS....the %'s they talk about are true and they make sense...ive always been a #'s type of guy both in sports betting and in poker (im an excellent player) and i can see straight through the BS that many sports services try to blind the ignorant with in their posts here....ty gaston is a blantent liar and con artist
