St. Louis Billikens at DePaul Blue Demons 2:00 pm EST
DePaul –4 (2 Units)
DePaul has quietly gotten themselves into the race for the top spot in CUSA. They are 8-3 and they trail first place Memphis and UAB by just one game. The Blue Demons have won 8 of their last 9 games and they are a perfect 5-0 since Andre Brown returned to the lineup. It’s not surprising that they have outrebounded their opponents by 7 boards per game since his return. DePaul lost the rebounding battle by 4.6 per game in the 5 games prior. He was named the Conference USA Player of the Week on February 9. For the week, Andre averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds while shooting .714 (15-21) from the floor as DePaul beat Tulane and Marquette. St. Louis is just 2-7 on the road this season, losing their last 4 in the process. DePaul is 9-3 at home, winning their last 4 including victories over UAB and Memphis. Ten days ago DePaul put on one of its greatest comebacks in school history by making up a 21-point deficit in the first half before beating the Billikens 70-68. St. Louis will be looking for payback but home revenge is easier to attain than going on the road to do it. DePaul is 22-6 under head coach Dave Leitao at the Allstate Arena.
