St. Peter's Peacocks at Canisius Golden Griffins 7:00 pm EST

    St. Peter’s +2 (2 Units)

St. Peter’s is coming off back-to-back home losses tightening the gap in the MAAC between themselves and 5th place. They are now in 2nd place by just 1 game over 3 teams and with their next 3 games on the road, this is a huge game for them to keep their position. First place is most likely out of the question but now they will be looking for a first round bye in the conference tournament. Canisius is a better road team than they are at home as they have 2 wins on their floor compared to 7 on the road. They have only defeated Florida International and Marist, a combined 10-36. St. Peter’s won the first meeting by 24 points and while revenge is always taken into consideration, a loss that big is that big for a reason. The Peacocks have one of the most exciting players on the court in Keydren Clark. Clark is 2nd in the country in scoring, averaging 26.3 ppg, trailing Kevin Martin of Western Carolina by 1/10 of a point. St. Peter’s is 11-5 this season when scoring 70 or more points. The Griffins are allowing 70.8 ppg this season. They are also 11-0 when they hold an opponent to 70 or less points. Canisius has averaged 67.1 ppg this season and they have failed to reach 70 points in their last 4 games. After 2 losses at home, the Peacocks will be ready for this game and they should easily win this one outright.
