Charlotte 49ers at St. Louis Billikens 1:00 pm EST

Charlotte is off a huge home win against Louisville, coming back from a 12-point 2nd half deficit. They now travel to face the Billikens, who are 9-2 at home this season and will be looking to break a 4-game skid. The national TV win by the 49ers gives St. Louis some value here. St. Louis lost at Charlotte by 6 points as 7-point dogs. Saint Louis tops C-USA by allowing only 57.6 ppg and that number is even better on their home floor as they allow 52.5 ppg at Savvis Center. The 49ers are giving up 82.7 ppg on the road, nearly 10 ppg more than their overall average. St. Louis blew a 21-point lead against DePaul on Wednesday and they might still have been feeling some of the road effects. St. Louis is the only C-USA team forced to make two three-game road swings, while only six other programs are scheduled to make three-game road trips once each. None of the programs making three-game road trips faces three league contenders in a row as the Billikens did in their just concluded trip to Charlotte, UAB and Memphis, who are a combined 22-6 overall in league play and 14-1 on their home floors. The Billikens are always tough to beat at Savvis Center where they are 113-38 (.748) in nine seasons. We expect the 49ers to still be feeling the effects of their win from Thursday. St. Louis is 8-2 ATS the last 10 meetings including 5-0 ATS at home. The home team has won the last 10 meetings SU.
