I was never enamored with UCLA this season. They needed overtime to get past Michigan St who just ever got it going this season. A real down year for the Spartans. They caught BYU on a bad night where the Cougars were only 3-17 from 3 pt range after ranking #39 in the nation in 3 pt shooting.
Defensively, UCLA was #213 in opp FG % and #242 in opp 3 pt %

Abilene Christian is coming off an upset win over Texas, who while a good team, not a powerhouse. Still, ACU forced 22 Texas turnovers in the win.

What I like with ACU is a couple of early season games vs Power 5 conference teams. They went to Texas Tech and lost by 7 points,51-44, while only going 6-9 from the FT line while Texas Tech went 25-37 from the FT line. Texas Tech also only shot 27.9% from the field vs ACU.
ACU also went to Arkansas and lost 85-72. ACU shot 47.2 % in the game but again, they apparently were not getting any calls, shooting 9-15 from the FT line while Arkansas went 24-30 from the FT line.

I think Texas and Arkansas both had better teams than did UCLA this season. UCLA beating Michigan St was no great feat for this years disappointing Spartans team.
