Early in the day, very little action on money lines movement, but a great deal more on totals. In this AL West clash, the total jumped from 8.5 to 9. This makes a great deal of sense as Texas starter Yovani Gallardo (8-6, 6.59 ERA) is 11-4 OVER this season and if you dig further he is 10-2 OVER vs. teams who strand 6.9 or less runners on base per game this season. The Angels are trying to have Matt Shoemaker*(2-2, 5.48)*earn some of his salary after being injured most of the year and in his last three starts, his ERA is over 8.

MLB – (977) OAKLAND at (978) SEATTLE 10:10 ET* CSCA, RTNW
Oakland is the postseason for the first time in four years and presumably is still trying to surpass the Yankees and host a Wild Card contest. The A's Brett Anderson (4-5, 3.96) faces with the Mariners Mike Leake (10-10, 4.10) and baseball bettors are counting on a pitcher's duel, lowering the total from 8.5 to 8. Though both starting pitchers have Under tendencies and have good ERA's against their opponents, both teams have been swinging the lumber and I'll the other way and say OVER.
