If you or I were skipper Dave Martinez, we might be inclined to let Gio Gonzalez (7-8, 3.89 ERA) throw all nine innings, no matter how many pitches. With the bullpen having blown three of the last four games for Washington, what would it hurt? OK, kidding, sort of, but for bettors like us, the total in Game 2 of this series has slipped from 9 to 8.5. Gonzalez is 11-3 UNDER vs. teams averaging 2.75 or less extra base hits per game this season. However, the St. Louis offense is dazzling in scoring 37 runs in their last five contests and they average 5.1 RPG against lefty starters (4.4 vs. RH starters). Let's go contrarian with the OVER with these bullpens.

MLB – (965) SEATTLE at (966) OAKLAND 10:05 ET RSNW, CSCA
Oakland slowed Seattle last night, ending their four-game winning streak, but Mariners cut a 7-1 deficit to one in the last two innings before falling. James Paxton (10-5, 3.63) will try and bring Seattle closer in the standings to the A's. Paxton struck out a career-high 16 batters against Oakland on May 2, throwing seven shutout innings and that is enough to change baseball bettor's minds, moving the M's from -110 to -125. Oakland will not go easy, since their starter, Mike Fiers (7-6, 3.40), has been, well, on fire, lowering his ERA more than a run the past two months. No easy call, but Fiers has an ERA over 6 versus Seattle and the Mariners are 15-7 at Oak-Town.
