The college hoops conference championships are beginning action and line moves will get to those in due time this week and next. NBA – (501) CHICAGO at (502) CHARLOTTE 7:05 ET CSCH, FSCR
Charlotte is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference and trails Miami by four games in the loss column for the last playoff spot, but they are making a push. The Hornets have won four in a row (3-1 ATS) and are a growing favorite over a nemesis. Charlotte has buzzed from -9 to -10.5 against Chicago. The Bulls have won and covered four straight times over the Hornets, each time as an underdog. Though Chicago is in total free fall, Charlotte is 1-9 ATS after leading previous game by 15 or more at the half. The Hornets will extend win streak, but fail to beat the spread.

Both these West Conference clubs have been in OVER mode recently, which explains the opening total of 233. The Clippers have played three straight while Denver is on a 7-0 OVER rampage. However, in five of these teams seven recent meetings, the Under has been the right side and the total has dipped to 230. What is the correct choice? Hard to ignore the Clips are 9-0 OVER after a combined 235 or more points in previous game and the Nuggets are 8-0 OVER after three straight games allowing a shooting percentage of 50 percent or higher this season.
