  • VegasProInsidersDaily.com Free Picks for Feb.6th

    By Doug Upstone

With football over, the line moves move completely over to basketball and hockey until the start of the baseball season. Take a minute to review all the betting trends and our free picks (87-72-3 run) to see what we are thinking this week. See you back here tomorrow.

NBA – (501) CLEVELAND at (502) ORLANDO 7:05 ET FSOH, FSFL

Cleveland has lost 12 of 18 and seen their lead dwindle to just two games in the Central Division. Every basketball bettor is aware of how bad their defense has played, but here is the real proof. During this elongated stretch the Cavaliers have allowed 113.1 PPG! Little wonder the total in this encounter shot up from 221 to 225.5. The Orlando defense has been nearly as bad in their past five contests allowing 111.4 PPG. Nonetheless, I have a NBA system relating to a poor team like the Magic, who are off an upset win over a division rival as an underdog, playing a winning team. This system is 32-9 UNDER.

Betting Trend - 65% backing Over
Doug's VPID Take - Lean Under

    By Doug Upstone

Back at it today for line moves with a total of five in all, including the always anticipated Duke vs. North Carolina conflict. Take a minute to review all the betting trends and our free picks (88-75-3 run) to see what we are thinking this week. See you back here tomorrow.

NBA – (505) BOSTON at (506) WASHINGTON 8:05 ET TNT

Both these Eastern Conference clubs had winning streaks snapped their last time out and will look to avoid a second straight setback. Those betting basketball are convinced Boston is more likely to fall again, dropping them from a one-point favorite to a +1.5-point underdog. Each club lacked defensive energy in their previous loss, but I will support the Celtics, who fell to Washington back on Christmas day at home 111-103 and they are is 12-2 ATS revenging a loss.

Betting Trend - 54% backing Boston
Doug's VPID Take - Lean Boston
