  • MNF Breakdown, Free Play Side, Discount offer

    Half Price Card tonight:
Free Play: Eagles -5.5 (like all the Joe’s)

Use Discount Code: HALF to get Monday my Monday Select Total play and my 1st NBA play of the season. You won’t get many NBA from me, but this one looks good.

Not too bad Yesterday in the NFL. I was 1-0-1 or 2-0 in Premium Plays depending on how you played Buffalo. I easy won with a Premium play on Vikings -4 as the Ravens looked sloppy as predicted. The second game I took a push on the website with a Premium play on Buffalo -3, (blowing a 2 TD lead pissed me off) however, I recommended a BUY of the ½ Point so if you did, Buff -2.5 (-125) as I did, you were a Bigg Fatt Winner. And that is why I often remind folks, lay the extra juice for the ½ point especially with 3 or 7-point line (4 & 6 often too). An extra 15 cent juice on Sunday paid off wonderfully.

I also hit a Select 50 play on the Pats -3 (-120) Sunday night (no buy 1/2 rec) but was a fool making a Select 50 play on Denver ML (-120). The late line steam influenced my decision too much even though I liked Denver and the situation. My mistake was NOT having enough confidence in elevating the Bears and Saints. They were so close to being Select plays, and I did end up betting a little on Chicago personally.

    Redskins @ Philly -5.5 (49)

Important home division game for the Eagles as Washington takes the 2-hour trip north to face the 5-1 Division leader. There’s a lot of takes out there on this game. Most favor the Eagles as the line was -4.5 this morning and around noon, it moved to -5 and now is -5.5 in most books. The total has steadied at 49. Many pro cappers are taking the Skins across the street... and I get it, you're asking Philly to win by a TD.

On defense for Washington, DL Jon Allen (for the year) and Josh Norman (ribs) are out on defense and Breland is hurting and is highly questionable, 10th overall defense, 15th rushing & 10th passing… Skins will be challenged to play up those rankings. On offense, the O’line is missing Nsekhe & Catalina so depth and skill on the lines is waning and coupled with the D Backfield issues all will be factors in this game. Plus, a new Kicker (Rose) replaces Hopkins.

Philly is much better off, where most of the starters are probable with no surprises on the injury report, specifically getting back OT Lance Johnson back is a big upgrade.

Skins RB Fat Rob Kelly will likely play and even start, and as my backup RB in my Bigg Fantasy League, that’s good news, as he could be a starter soon for me with Ty Montgomery regressing… (i digress) but coming off the ankle injury of 3 weeks will be risky; though he’s practiced more this week than the last 3 weeks combined. RB Peron has shown he's not great given the chance to step up, but Chris Thompson is much better with almost 19 Yards per catch. If Kelly is healthy, he’s shown nice moves and a solid RB.

Eagles are solid overall statistcally, Wentz is getting MVP considerations, but they’ve had a few close wins including the opener vs these Skins. The 31-17 final was much closer than it seems. A key factor is RB Blount is making 5.3 Yards/Carry and is wearing D’s down and opening the pass game for Wentz and easier 3rd downs. Carson and the Eagles are much improved over 2016 in many areas and lead the NFL defensively in many categories, top 5 in others.

Skins could be a nice play here +5.5 as the public is pounding the Eagles. The Skins are a capable squad beating Rams on the road, then stuffing the Raiders easily… losing only to Philly and KC, are excusable and we mentioned the Eagle game only broke open after the controversial Philly Def TD late.

But more recently the last win against 49ers game, as the defense became more injured, as the Skins extended their lead, nearly putting them away, the Skins let Beathard run/pass right down the field losing by 2. What will Senior Wentz do if he gets time?

With the Skins playing the B squad in 3-4 D-positions, the Eagles should do well. Leading the NFL in several efficient categories, especially 3rd down conversions. Skins will be able to contribute points I figure 17-24 points, but the Eagles should get at least 3 TDs, and kicker Elliott is solid from distance and likely to have a chance at 1-3 FGs… add is up and Eagles win by 6 or more, I am call for a 34-24 final.

    Take the Eagles -5.5
