Air Force Falcons at San Diego St. Aztecs 10:05 pm EST

San Diego St. +2 (2 Units)

Air Force is having a sensational season thus far as they have won their last 12 games. They are one of the best defensive teams in the country but they will now be facing one of the best offensive teams. The Falcons rank first nationally in fewest points allowed at 47.1, while the Aztecs lead the league and rank 54th nationally in scoring offense at 75.7. San Diego State is trying to avoid its first three-game losing streak since March 3-13, 2003. The Aztecs are 8-2 at home this season and they have won four straight Mountain West Conference games dating back to last season. The six nonconference teams that have handed San Diego State a loss this season are a pretty impressive group. Dayton, Troy State, Texas Tech, Arizona, Washington and Saint Mary’s have combined to post a 67-27 record. Overall ,the Aztecs schedule ranks 72nd while Air Force has played a schedule ranked 268th in the country. Air Force cannot rebound the ball and that will be their downfall here. Aerick Sanders, who leads the MWC in rebounding, is fourth nationally in rebounds and 20th in the country in field goal percentage. Wesley Stokes, who leads the MWC in assists and steals, is ranked 13th nationally in assists per game. He is averaging 7.7 apg in his last nine games. Overall, the Aztecs have posted an 11-8 record against the most challenging schedule in school history despite NCAA statistical rankings that would lead one to believe that San Diego State was below .500. They are finding ways to win and we see them pulling off the upset here.

    Free Super Bowl Prop Bet

Under total rushing yards by Antowain Smith: 71.5

Smith will lose some touches to Kevin Faulk and this will be one of the best rushing defenses he has seen. He has gone over this number in 3 of his last 4 games but that was against Indianapolis, Buffalo and the NY Jets. The Colts and Jets were ranked far below Carolina in rush defense while Buffalo was just playing out the string. He went over 71.5 yards only once in his first 11 games that he was activated in.
