San Francisco Dons at Loyola Marymount Lions 10:05 pm EST

    Loyola Marymount –3.5 (2 Units)

The Lions will look to break a 10-game losing skid to San Francisco. The Dons are only 2-8 on the road this season and they have lost their last 5 by an average of 20.6 ppg. All 8 of their losses have been in double digits with the exception of 1 game they lost by nine while their two wins were by a combined 3 points. The Lions have been getting it done on the defensive end of the floor this season, leading the league in blocks with 4.33 per game (78 total) and in forced turnovers with 17.4 (314) per game while placing second in steals with 7.50 per game (135). In the WCC, Loyola Marymount is the only team to have two players ranked in the top five in steals. On the season, the Lions have held opponents to 42.6 percent (3rd in WCC) from the field and just 29.5 percent from the three-point line (2nd). They have held five opponents under 40 percent shooting and 20 percent or below from the three-point line, finished a game with more than 10 steals five times and have forced five teams into 20 or more turnovers in games this season. This season the Lions have been a tough team for opponents to put away as Loyola Marymount has held a lead in the second half or overtime in all but two games this season with one other being tied at the break. With the loss of John Cox, the possibility of a great season for the Dons went with him. The matchups favor the Lions to break the streak to one of their longest rivals.
