West Virginia Mountaineers at Texas Longhorns 7:00 PM ET

We played against Texas on Saturday as it lost by 10 points at Iowa St. for its second consecutive loss following a four-game winning streak. Both of those losses have come on the road however and the Longhorns have been solid at home with a 12-1 record with the lone setback coming against Connecticut in a non-conference game. They are 5-0 at home in the Big XII with the best win coming against Iowa St. and while the others may have been not overly impressive, we cannot forget they took down North Carolina on this floor back in mid-December. West Virginia has been great all season as it improved to 20-5 overall and 9-3 in the conference with a 31-point victory over TCU on Saturday. The Mountaineers have not been very consistent of late though as they are 5-4 over their last nine games with three of those wins coming against the aforementioned TCU, Texas Tech and Kansas St. West Virginia has suffered just one home loss this season and it came against Texas so while it will be highly motivated here, road revenge can be tossed in this spot. Going back, the Longhorns are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against teams with a winning percentage above .600 and take care of the Mountaineers for a second time this season. Indiana St. Sycamores at Illinois St. Redbirds 8:00 PM ET

One look at the recent runs from both sides will explain why Illinois St. is a significant favorite here but this is the perfect contrarian setup. The Redbirds have won four straight games and seven of their last eight to move to 10-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference which is good for solo second place. They have also won four straight home games where they are 11-3 but Illinois St. has covered just three of nine games when favored at home. Indiana St. meanwhile has been going the other way as after a 4-1 conference start, it has gone 3-6 in its last nine MVC games including losses in three straight. Records can be skewed which is the case here as those last three losses were winnable games and two of the Sycamores last four losses have come in overtime. Going even more contrarian is the fact that Indiana St. has covered just once over its last nine games so it will be faded considerably by the public here. The Sycamores are one of five teams within two games of each other for fourth place in the conference so there is a lot at stake still. Indiana St. is 11-3 ATS in its 14 games this season against teams with a winning record and going back it is 19-7-2 ATS in its last 28 games against teams with a winning straight up record. California Golden Bears at Washington Huskies 11:00 PM ET

Washington has dropped its last three games but all were competitive against future NCAA Tournament teams. The Huskies were once in first place in the Pac 12 with a 5-1 record but are now 7-6 which is good for just seventh place. The good news is that they are only one game out of third place and with five games left, there is still time to move up. Washington is 10-4 at home with the two conference losses coming by just five points each against Arizona and Utah. California meanwhile is riding a three-game winning streak including a big victory over Oregon but all three of those games were at home and the venue has made all the difference this season for the Golden Bears. The home team is 22-1 in California games this season including a perfect 12-0 in conference games so the fact the Golden Bears come in here as a slight road favorite is a little overaggressive. The Golden Bears are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games against teams with a winning home record while the Huskies are 6-0 ATS in their last six games following a straight up loss.
