UConn vs Marshall
Play on: UConn +5
St Pete Bowl
The opening line caught my attentionat 3.5. *It has since gone up. *I think the public bought into something that looked to easy. *If its two good to be true, it probably is. *I wouldn't be surprised to see it come down a bit when the sharps jump back in. *Marshall had a good season at 9-3, despite all the losses in personnel from last years monster team. *I think the public still thinks those guys are there. *The offense is a mirror image of last years team. *This year they win with defense, which was pretty good against the pass. *UConn had a great season at 6-6. *You may look at that and think how can 6-6 be a great season. *Well, when you look at the past several seasons, you'll understand why. *This team is estatic to be in this bowl; Marshall? Not so much. *UConn plays pretty good defense. *They don't run it great, but the motivation factor will keep this a tight game, so take the points

Carolina vs Atlanta
Play On: Atlanta +7
These two met just 2 weeks ago which saw the Panthers pound the Falcons 38-0. *Rematches are tough when they come only a couple of weeks apart. *Carolina is a solid team. *You don't go 14-0 totally by luck. *But they could be a little flat with the wild win last week at NY and the fact they clinched homefield throughout the playoffs. *Atlanta got a badly needed win last week to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. *I look for them to play well in this game which should come down to the last possession
