DETROIT PISTONS VISIT THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS
SATURDAY JANUARY 17 @ 8:00 EST (FOX SPORTS)
    RED ZONE HAS YOU COVERED

In this clash we have two teams that are making runs at the top of the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The Pistons appear to finally have a grasp of Larry Brown’s methodology and what his expectations truly are night in and night out. This is demonstrated by the fact they have recorded nine wins in their last ten games and more importantly are 7-3 ATS in this ten game sequence. The Bucks on the other hand have won seven of the last ten games and are also 7-3 ATS. Detroit is led by Chauncey Billups who leads them in about every category but rebounding, Richard Hamilton 18.2 points per outing and Tayshawn Prince with another eleven point double figure average. Detroit has been bolstered by the fact that Ben Wallace for the first time in his career is averaging double figures at 13.4 points per game and a team high twelve rebounds playing more relaxed and aggressive on the offensive end for Coach Brown.

The Bucks are led by Michael Redd 21.6 points per game, Tim Thomas 15.2, Doug Mason 12.9, and Brian Skinner 10.2. It should be noted that Detroit is 6-1 as an away dog and 10-5-1 ATS when on the road. Milwaukee is 10-6-1 ATS when playing at home and has split the first two games versus the Pistons but won them both ATS. Detroit is gaining confidence in Brown and his demands with each victory and has moved within three games of Central Division leader Indiana. Milwaukee stands at fourth place in the division behind New Orleans and are seven games back of the Pacers. The boys from the motor city have begun to click and are one of if not the hottest team out there presently. No one will dispute that Larry Brown is an outstanding practice and game coach and it truly appears he’s got the Pistons playing toward another Central Division title. Take the Pistons to win and cover in Milwaukee.
