This matchup features a battle between two Big 12 teams that are known for their high-powered offenses. This is always an entertaining matchup since West Virginia head coach Dana Holgersen was an offensive coordinator for Oklahoma State a few years ago. It usually turns into an offensive chess match with both teams exchanging scores frequently throughout the game. Even though West Virginia is coming off of their biggest win since they've been in the Big 12, NCAAF expert picks still have Oklahoma State favored in the game. All signs are pointing this to being another high-scoring affair so it should be another entertaining matchup.

Although the Mountaineers defense held Baylor to only 27 points, the Bears don't play well on the road so it's difficult to tell how legitimate they are based on one performance. It's likely that the Cowboys will be able to move the ball consistently and put up some big offensive numbers. Their defense has been good at times and shaky other times. West Virginia has a good offense, but can be stopped. If coach Mike Gundy and his defensive staff come up with a good gameplan, then they will have a good shot at winning the game.
