Syracuse @ Missouri
The Syracuse Orangemen play their first true road game of the season tonight when they take on the Missouri Tigers.
Syracuse have reeled off 10 straight wins following a season-opening loss against Charlotte. But the Orangemen have played mainly cupcakes this season as their strength of schedule ranks just 288th in the nation in difficulty. Their winning run has also been helped by playing all but one of it's games at home - their only game away from the Carrier Dome so far was at a neutral site.
“It’s going to be a great test, especially for the younger guys, to see how it is (away from home),” Junior Hakim Warrick told reporters.
Missouri are only 6-5 SU this season but have played a tough schedule that ranks 34th in the nation. The Tigers began the season in the AP top-25 poll but five losses in eight games dropped them out. They have won their last two at home, beating Texas A&M 82-77 and Iowa 76-56. Expect Missouri to be fired up for this one tonight on national TV against #19 Syracuse as they avenge last year's loss at the Carrier Dome. The Orangemen are 1-30 ATS when they lose to avenging teams.
Take Missouri to win and cover tonight.
