Sean Payton is back on the sidelines for the Saints this season and bountygate is a thing of the past. That can only be positive for the offense and defense, which means the Saints are superbowl contenders. The Payton/Brees combo should have the Saint offense producing at a high level. Even if the Saint defense is only marginally better, this is still a playoff team. If it is significant improvement, then it may be the Super Bowl. I expect close to significant than marginal. Meanwhile, the Falcons kind of did it with mirrors last season. They made all the key plays and didn't turn the ball over. That is difficult to accomplish in back to back years. Look for the Falcons not to make as many key plays and get the benefit of the bouncing ball, which means possibly missing the playoffs. The defense isn't good enough to pick up the slack.
