It’s a classic battle of two teams that are much better at home than on the road. Portland averages 94.8 ppg at home, while Denver gets only 92.3 on the road. Now at first glance, that may say Denver can stay within the number but the Nuggets play a much higher tempo giving up 96.7 ppg on the highway.
The home team is 25-5 SU in the Blazers games and 20-9 to the number.
Streaky Denver—young teams in new systems tend to be—has been horrible in their last two losing at home to lowly Toronto and getting crushed by 16 to the Clippers. Portland in their last two home games beat Minnesota and Dallas back to back by nine or more.
