LA CLIPPERS –5 Philadelphia
The Sixers without Allen Iverson playing on the west coast and getting a small number is easy money. The Clippers are 5-2 their last seven SU and that includes the Texas Triangle in which they beat Dallas but their only losses during that span were at San Antonio and Houston. They’ve won four straight home games—three by double-digits and the other against Dallas.
Going against road teams that give up 88-92 ppg after allowing 40 or less in the first half of consecutive games against a home team that gives up 92-98 is 31-8.
Here is what Philly has faced this year: 68 games missed by players who have spent time on the active roster,13 different starting lineups; four games started as a group by the players (Allen Iverson, Eric Snow, Derrick Coleman, Glenn Robinson, Kenny Thomas) who were projected in the preseason to make up the starting five.
With guys like Kyle Korver being depended on for quality time, we have to like them as a go-against a few thousand miles from home.
