You guys know how much I love revenge, especially involving the home team---BUT NOT TONIGHT! I see a lot of love for the Rockets, citing tougher schedule, a better defense, and revenge. However, I think these same people are still placing way too much stock in the Ohio State game earlier this year! As "good" as Toledo's defense may look compared to NIU's the reality is any team that had a remotely decent ground attack enjoyed some success running against them! And even better for us NIU backers is that Toledo has yet to face a QB as dangerous as Harnish or a ground attack as good as NIUs! NIU possesses way too much balance offensively and will expose Toledo every time they get the ball. Both teams have enjoyed success in the redzone this year but it is NIU that has been nearly flawless converting 94% of their opportunities on the road while Toledo is allowing opponents to convert 100% of their redzone opportunities at home! This is NOT A TYPO folks -- 100%!!! You can't win big games when you let opponents score 100% of the time when they get to the redzone! Both teams enter this one on extended rest but it is Toledo that has failed in this spot going 0-4 ATS last 4!!
