The Sixers have been ravaged by injuries as Allen Iverson is out again tonight as they face King LeBron James. The Cadavers can’t blame him. He is averaging one of only five players in the NBA averaging more than 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Though they are actually 3-1 SU without Iverson, now playing consecutive games without him there is a law of diminishing return as far as rising to the occasion emotionally.
It is especially a crucial injury as Iverson eats the Cavs alive. Glen Robinson is back for the Sixers but he played well in their last game. The problem is Big Dog generally follows up good games with selfish horrific efforts especially when his respective teams have needed him to rise to the occasion. This should be no exception.
Without AI the Sixers are not a good team. Cleveland may actually get a road win as they should smell blood tonight. They certainly get the cover.
