    100 POSTS!!! SWEEEET!!!!

    Cincinnati @ Baltimore

The magic number in this game is 5 and 1. Cincy is 1-5 ATS in road games after a game as a road dog in the last 3 seasons. Though they are 3-3 SU on the road this year, they are 5-1 ATS away. The Bengal defense is allowing 4.4 ypc on the road this season and Jamal Lewis can certainly exploit the weak front four of Cincy. Anthony Wright has brought something to Baltimore that has been lacking….OFFENSE!! Wright has thrown for 496 yards in the last 2 weeks against the Seahawks and Niners. In those games, Baltimore put up 88 points. Baltimore may have just recently found an offensive machine in Wright and WR Marcus Robinson, but their power defense lead by Ray Lewis is still a force to be reckoned with. The Ravens are tied for 3rd in sacks with 31 on the year, which means they will put a lot of pressure on Jon Kitna. Baltimore also sports the 6th best passing defense allowing 180 ypg.
Baltimore is 5-1 ATS in home games after a win by 14 points or more. They are 5-1 ATS after 2 games with 25 points or more. They are 5-1 ATS in home games after a non-conference game. They are 5-1 SU at home this year and 3-1 ATS on home turf with an average score of 30.2 -16.7 in favor of the Ravens. The offense, even before Wright came along, is averaging 5.1 yards per rush at home. At home, the Ravens are 6-1 ATS @ Baltimore versus Cincy since 1992. This game has a lot of post-season implications and Cincy isn’t used to playing a meaningful game in December. We like Jamal Lewis to run all over the Bengals and for Jon Kitna to throw 2 or more picks to give Baltimore the SU win and the cover.
    Baltimore -4

    Oakland @ Pittsburgh

Oakland is awful and Rick Mirer is even worse. The Raiders have officially given up on Callahan who knows he is out at the end of the year. On the other side, even though Cowher’s job is also on the line, it can be salvaged with some solid wins to end the year. The Steelers are out of playoff contention, but Cowhers’ boys will step up at home to show that they are better than their record. After all, this is pretty much the same team as last year…right?! We look for Hines Ward AND Plexi-glass Burress to have big days today. The Raiders are just 4-14 ATS against AFC North opponents and they are 1-5 ATS this year on the road. The Raider defense, once touted as being good, is allowing opposing QB’s to complete at 64% on the road. We could be surprised at the end of the day, but we just can’t see Oakland staying in this one.
    Pittsburgh -4.5

    San Diego @ Detroit

The Lions are coming off a shocking T-Day upset of Green Bay. That bodes well for those of us (ahem..) who laid heavy on the Packers. The Lions are just 2-8 ATS the next week after Turkey Day. They are also just 1-6 ATS off a home win in the last 3 seasons. Realistically, the Chargers shouldn’t be as bad as they are. They handed a beating to the Vikings (which, I guess, isn’t that hard to do anymore) and they were within a TD of the powerhouse Chiefs. A steady dose of LT should propel San Dog to a nice SU upset.
    San Diego +3

    Good luck,
