Labor Day Sunday, Ty Gaston likes SMU plus 14 over Texas Tech. June Jones went 1-11 as head coach his first year back at SMU, but the future is bright as the Mustangs went 8-5 last year with the Run n Shoot Offense. Jones has his QB back and hopes are high for SMU this season. Despite losing to the Red Raiders 13 straight times, this could be an upset alert, give June Jones and the Mustangs 14 points and they should be able to keep it close if not an upset could be brewing in this one. New head coach Tommy Tuberville is more of a defenseive coach than an offensive minded one for TTech. Don't expect the Red Raiders to be as explosive as in the past, but defensively they should be tough. But can anyone stop the run and shoot of June Jones? Take the points and enjoy.
