Minnesota has allowed 26 points or more in all but one road game and now they face the Greatest Show on Turf. The Rams are finally getting their running game going averaging 4.5 yards per rush with 229 yards rushing on 51 carries in their last two games.
The Rams offense against Minnesota’s defense is a huge speed mismatch. The Vikes are allowing 7.2 yards per pass against teams averaging a yard less in their last five. Minny won’t have the luxury of having Joey Heatherton, I mean Harrington throw two touchdowns to them this week. Instead they have to figure out how to stop Torry Holt who leads the NFL with 84 receptions for 1,285 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Rams.
This season, the Rams are 5-0 in St. Louie, averaging 33.4 points. They allow only 16.6.
They allow only 176 passing yards per game at home, quite respectable in a dome.
