The Phoenix Suns look for their 15th straight win tonight and will face a Memphis Grizzlies team that's won four of five. The Suns won 117-91 win over Detroit on Sunday to improve to 5-0 at home this season as Amare Stoudemire had 21 points and six Suns scored in double figures as they shot a season-best 57.5 percent including 11 of 18 from 3-point range. Steve Nash hit 7 of 8 shots with 20 points and nine assists as Phoenix has now won 14 consecutive games at US Airways Center and six straight games at home against Memphis. Stoudemire is looking to score 20 or more points for the fifth straight game. He missed the last two matchups with the Grizzlies last season but is averaging 21.9 points and 9.7 boards in 21 career games versus Memphis. Phoenix, the only team in the league to score at least 100 points in each of its games faces the Grizzlies who are playing their best defense of the season holding opponents to 96.6 points per contest during their current 4-1 stretch after giving up 111.3 points a game to start the season. Their offense is also playing better averaging 103.8 points and shooting 51.0 percent from the field. Rudy Gay leads Memphis with 21.9 points per game while averaging 24.2 and hitting 53.9 percent during a 5 game stretch. Memphis is 1-6 on the road this season and although they are playing better defense, they have played the Clippers, Sixers, Kings and Bucks. Tonight they will face one of the best offenses in the league which will bring that points per game on defense back to over 110 points per game as it was before their 5- game stretch against weaker opponents. Memphis will be looking forward to getting home for Thanksgiving after this one.
