This is due or die for the fighting Phillies. They are the defending world champs and are looking to send this series back to New York. There is alot of good things for Philly tonight. Number # 1 is they have lost 3 straight games beating Philly 4 straight times is a huge feat to do.Number # 2 Phillies have Cliff Lee going which dominated New York at NY in game 1.The left-hander is 3-0 with a 0.54 ERA in the postseason giving up one unearned run and six hits in a complete game victory and stirking out 10!! Number # 3 Phillies have already beat Aj Burnett and he has been so up and down this year and considering he pitched good in the first game and still lost what are the chances is now pitches better this time on the Road in a due or die game. Burnett can get wild and allow alot of hits i think he gets into trouble early, I dont see him pitching more than 5 innings tonight. Philly is not going to give up. Just look at what they have done and what manager Manuel had to say. "I think we take a lot of pride on being resilient and the way we bounce back," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. "I've seen us go through it before. We've blown 22 games from the seventh inning on or something this year. That's got to tell you something about the resilience of our team." Number # 4 we all know Sabathia can pitch on 3 days rest he did it all with Brewers during that playoff push and he did it once agian with NY. AJ on 3 days rest he is 4-0 with 2.33 era on short rest all on regular season this is playoffs which is a differant story as even burnett was quoted "To be honest, it's a little different, obviously, in October," he said. "But I feel good right now. Otherwise, I wouldn't take the ball." but i just beleive seeing him twice within a few days the Phillies bats are going to get to him, Not to mention there is a big prop bet will Burnett be winning pitcher for New York Yes is + 230. Thats saying Vegas will give you + 230 on Yanks if Burnett is winning pitcher. Vegas doesent throw away money and right there there telling you Burnett wont be winning pitcher.
