    Mrmartingale.com Presents...

Complimentary play and a Mindbuster Question!

Posted Complimentary Play Record: 4-0 (100%)

Feb 04: NCAAB: Colorado +5.5 WON
Feb 04: NBA: Dallas -3.5 WON
Feb 03: NHL (ot inc): Dallas to win (-109) WON
Feb 02: NBA: Dallas +7.5 WON

Today's Complimentary play: LA Lakers/Boston Under 206.5 The average total points scored in the last 5 Lakers games is 231.5 points. The average is the last 5 Boston game is around 203, but if you take out the game vs detroit then the average jumps up to around 215. Today's total of 206.5 looks like easy over but this game is most likely to finish under 200 points. Lakers played in toronto last night and made the trip to boston in bitter cold and they will be short rested. Garnett will not be 100% after flu and high fever, so expect a slow defensive game. As long as the refs dont blow the whistle too much this game should be an easy under with similar scores to these teams last match up in December. Here is the mind buster: There is a farmer with a wolf, goat and a stack of grass trying to cross a river. However, the boat is small and he can take only one of the 3 with him in each trip. If he leaves 2 of them unattended, one would eat the other. The farmer gets all 3 of them to the other side successfully in 3 trips. How did he do it? If he takes the wolf with him in the firs trip, the goal would eat the grass. If he takes the grass, wolf would eat the goat..etc. He can take the goat first, then somethign else in the second trip, but that wont work either because something would each something on the other side when he comes back for the third. So how did he do it successfully in 3 trips?

      You need 4 trips

1st trip: Take the goat, come back, 2nd trip: take the wolf across and bring the goat back. 3rd trip: leave the goat, take the grass across, come back, 4th trip: bring the goat across. No way to do it in 3 trips
