CONTROVERSIAL SPORTS HANDICAPPER, STU FEINER, RELEASES BOOK
    Motion Picture in Development

NEW YORK - January 27, 2008- Today, Stu Feiner, the sports handicapper and basis for Al Pacino's character in Universal Pictures, 'Two for the Money,' announced the release of his book BETCHA I CAN! He also used the occasion to introduce a new completely transparent method of operation, holding himself to a higher standard, with player's only paying if they win selections.

The riveting biography chronicles the colorful and much maligned Feiner's rise and fall, excesses and addictions - and the often questioned practices of an industry he played a large role in creating.

A feature film is currently in development with SPORTSBRANDEDMEDIA in partnership with Clear Shot Entertainment.

A FREE electronic download of the book is available to the public at BETCA I CAN! > Home. Hard and soft copies are available for purchase on the site, as well as at Amazon.com.

The Matthew McConaughey character was based on Brandon Lang and the Al Pacino character was based off of Stu. Stu claims that the only thing real in that movie based on him was that he did buy him a porsche.

If that is true then Stu has a lawsuit against the makers of that film.

I read it here Barstool Sports: Stu Feiner Interview

                          1. In the movie Two For The Money, the character Walter Abrams was based on you. How realistic would you say it was?

It wasn’t realistic at all. To be honest Al Pacino can’t hold my fucking jock. When’s the last time he made a good movie? The story is based on a guy Brandon Link who came to work for me in 1991. He was making 8 dollars an hour before he met me. I flew him down to NY and he set up all my 900 numbers and was a great handicapper. We’d go into the city and spend $20,000 a weekend. Brandon left me in 1995 after going on a losing streak. He moved to California and became a caddy at the Riveria and wrote the movie script based on his life. The only scenes from the movie that are true is when I go to the GA meeting and people recognize me and threaten to rip my head off for giving them losing picks. That and I bought Brandon Link a Porsche when he came to work for me with a license plate that said 900 king. Everything else is bull shit. And I thought it was a crappy movie.
