Minnesota -16.5 over Illinois: The Golden Gophers are in the Top 10 in 7 major offensive categories while Illinois has struggled on the defensive side of the ball all year, allowing 35 ppg and 401 ypg. On the other side Illinois' sorry offense, that has averaged 18.9 ppg and 342 ypg, must contend with the loss of starting QB Beutjer leaving this group in the hands of Red Shirt Freshman Chris Pazan. Also gone from this unit is starting RB E.B. Halsey. Minnesota is off tough home losses to both the Michigan schools, but they should bounce back here vs a 1-7 Illinois team that is already thinking of next year. Minnesota 49-14
