        $500 DETROIT +10
The fact that this is a division game allows for some more confidence in an already confident pick. The Lions were defeated and humbled by the strong Titans last week and have had a few extra days to come out and try to play perfect, something that has not happened all year. The Vikings made a statement last week hammering Chicago at home. Serious letdown and revenge angles for this one. Miami won a game last season, the Lions will win one this season. What a better time than this week at home vs. a division rival who they competed with on the road and shouldve beaten by the way. These Lions will devour the Vikes today. If they win, great, told you so, if they lose, I cant say the points listed are not valid. A cover should definitely be in the cards this afternoon!

This game has all the means of not only a cover but an outright win here by the heavily dogged home team winless Lions. Lest we forget that weeks ago the Lions were a mishap away from possibly winning at Minnesota. After a botched QB play by Dan Orlovsky stepping on the chalk out of bounds in the back of the endzone the Lions covered but lost 12-10 in a back and forth no scoring affair. This time the Lions look for retribution for not only that game, but on home turf yet again, against a Vikings team that is looking for their first division title in a long time. Lions will fight here as the schedule is very unfriendly the rest of the way. Lions by 3 in a thriller.
