The Detroit Lions. Without a doubt the leagues worst in 08. The worst team in the last half dozen years easy. They can have everyone fired. If you cant replace the bad with good you will stay in the gutter until change is really made. From Millen to any of the past or present QB roller-coaster players. Just add to the list. The Titans, the leagues best, look to take out frustrations of their first loss on this lowly team. Detroit doesnt have the talent to pull off what the Jets did last week. Culpepper is not Favre. The Lions will suffer another devastating loss on the holiday. They have failed to put up points Thanksgiving Day staying under 13 points in 4 of the last 6 years. Titans are looking to beat on someone. Enter Detroit, exit Detroit! Titans 27-12.

This is a multi-prop play for the holiday opening game. I will hopefully supply some winners on this day. I couldnt pass this one up. If you do research like Aftermath does there are some solid quarter wagers out there. Many believe that props are for suckers. I am proof they are not. I studied the holiday game trends for Detroit the last 5 years. They cant be worse. In the last 5 games on the holiday, the Lions have lost all 5 second quarters and all 5 third quarters SU and ATS, hence the plays. The Lions have been outscored 52-9 in the 2Q of their last 5 Thanksgiving games. How about the 3Q? Try a 55-3 decimation on the holiday! They have only scored a total of 12 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters over 5 years. Throw in a tough Titans D and this trend easily continues!
$500 PHILLY -2.5(-120)
Philly at -3 even money I would buy down to -2.5 -120 for the evening game on Thanksgiving. The Eagles need redemption, with an uglier than ugly game at Cincy in a tie overtime game, and then last weeks mess at Baltimore. It wont get easier this week but the Eagles are home and they turn to McNabb who is over-due for a stellar performance. The Eagles D has played well and will get the extra motivation at home. It is the offense that is skeptical as they have had as many turnovers as points it seems. Look for the Eagles to bounce back this week and win a good ballgame. The public loves the Cards getting points but there is a big reason Philly is laying here. Lay em, as Donovan and the Eagles wont have a third straight ugly game.
$150 Sea/Dal Over 46
Had a call on the Cowboys over last week was not genius, it was smart though. The totals are a little low for this environment as Tony Romo even with a bad finger proved to be the QB he left the field as. These boys will score at will. I feel that a 46 total in this contest is again too low. Seattle will score and Dallas will have to push the envelope to cover this mighty spread. I dont think a cover is in the works but I can easily see a 30-20 or 27-20 game here. The Boys are averaging 30+ with Romo at QB. They scored 30+ last week and most likely will do it again. Romo at home this season is 4-0 to the over. They were also 10-3 to the over in last years opening 13 games.
