I will pop in here every now and again and post my thoughts for a wonderful money filled NHL season. This sport has been the most kind. I am not a hockey fanatic and rarely get into watching or going to games. Was born and bred a Rangers fan but never really got into the NHL like so many others. I study stats, my specialty, and have come up with some core systems for the NHL.
These systems have nothing to do with road games, or trips, chasing of any kind, or anything of the same magnitude. As in baseball, I've stated I am against chasing for the most part. There are some things I've come across that I will chase but for the benefit of the internet it is best I leave that shell unturned. I would certainly not want someone to see a $500 play, assume its a lock, and lose that evening. If you do watch closely, i'd suggest starting small and working up to a higher value.
These selections will only be based on sides, will include a few puck-lines here and there but are primarily on light faves and dogs of all kinds.
I have touched this up over the last several years and have done extremely well. Overall I personally wager on a $200 and $500 scale based on the percentages of the 4 core systems. Just last year, these Core-4 have made me $12,000 wagering on the 2-5 scale. In 2006, it was the record breaking year, pulling in $14,000 in profit. 2005, didn't show well at all, but brought in $5000. Pct as follows: 63% in 2007, 65% in '06, and only 53% in 2005. The NHL is my favorite sport to place money on because not many bet it and that leaves just me and my local. I also have a dog system and 1st period system to go along with these but I will stick to the basics for the forum only.
In closing the 5* or $500 plays have hit at 72.4% over these last 3 seasons. An 84-32 record since 2005-06.
