Today we like Boise St -8 1/2 against Louisiana Tech. The Broncos were one of our favorite cover teams from a year ago. They ended 12-1 and was 10-3 against the numbers. They also smoked La Tech 36-10 last season in the supposed battle of high powered offenses. Boise is 3-1 this season and 2-1 ATS, covering their last two. Boise is now 28-10 ATS over their last 38 games combined and they are 14-6 ATS over their last 20 road games. For even stronger numbers, Boise is 17-4 against the numbers over their last 21 WAC games. La Tech is 2-9 against the numbers over their last eleven games played on grass, which is where they play their home games. La Tech is also just 1-10 ATS after a bye week, which is what they had last week after a 16-6 loss to Fresno back on September 20th. This game will not be 16-6, but the Broncos will out score Tech by enough to cover the score, shoiuld be plenty of scoring.
We also like New York Yanks (Clemens -165) against Minnesota (Lohse). Roger Clemens is a pretty option in a Game 3 and he will prove his worth as the Yanks will take control of this series. Clemens ended the season at a 3-0 clip with a 1.80 Era, plus he was 1-0 versus the Twins this season. Kyle Lohse pitched much better in the second half of the season, but still only finished the season at 14-11 with a high 4.61Era. He also was beaten up by the Yanks this season, he was 0-2 versus them and he does not have what it will take to win this pivotal game. Clemens has been here before, so has the Yanks, they will take the game.
