Ryan that was hilarious. They all do it. How can you have 16 lock of the years. But you know what, we hear that stuff and we all act like little kids in a candy store. We can't wait to bet on them. It is funny, the guys I hang out with one will get a "lock" and everyone is running around to bet the game even our local books took the game off the sheet cause of too much money. You know what the game was Arizona St. over Iowa. The same night they had Mississippi St. Both lost. I like seeing service picks just to help me base what I like. None of them are any better than us. Leo i think that is so true and well said. I look at the Service Threads once in a while just to make sure there is no bs going on but i NEVER EVER care 1 bit to look at any of the picks. That's why i post mine before Saturday cause Win or Lose i know their mine. I can get caught up in it if i stare at the so called respectable ones and their all on the same game i want to jump on it if i don't already have something on it. I said either on a thread or a PM to someone last week that i was sucked in on that Ark. St game and played it simply cause it was a "CODE ZEBRA" play for free.

I would never pay for a service personally and i don't have anything against the ones that don't beg or throw bs in all their threads........ BUT if i did i would NEVER pay prices that have been thrown around here EVER! I think people jump on those code zebra and millionaire plays cause they sound like your getting the world for free, and their afraid that if they don't bet it that they will regret it cause the service actually did have inside info.

It's all about picking a few winners and if you can do that then the best salesman wins..... unfortunately you usually end up paying twice, once to the book then you have to pay them for the loser(the bad services anyway). When i was younger i got caught up in getting some pay picks and i learned real fast that they could care less how much you lose and i was getting abused paying 2 people. I've been capping my own games for about 5 years now and with my addiction of sports i love to do it. Don't you hate it when you like 1 side a little but bet the other because all or a service was on it? I DID. Sorry no baseball and i guess i was bored. :D

I know it has happened to me before I like making my picks and I give out my picks to all my buddies on a newsletter. It is fun for me and they like it to give me crap when I do bad. But I will say my picks are better than the ones they pay for. The biggest one I can remember is when I liked Tennessee vs Florida years ago. I called a service cause I was losing that day. He gave me Florida and told me to bet alot on it. The final was 35-3 Tennessee. I had to pay twice like you said. My saying is now I can lose my money well enough on my own. ha ha Lucky Leo

Great reading and great points, guys.
However, let us not forget the "real" champion cappers out there:
1) Jimmy the Fixer-75 years old and works 120 hours a week and is almost 90% lifetime in all sports.
2) Johnny Demarco, the pimp for Fixer, who ever day tells us how good Fixer is, probably because the mythical and legendary Fixer is too busy putting in one of those 17 hour days capping to tell us himself.
3) Jack Price-always telling us to call his office so that he "can prove himself to us"(and of course get our phone number so that he can hound us forever) and every single year reminding us that he is #1 out of 2500 cappers in NFL(documentation is probably in his dreams).
4) A certain capper here who posts here who last season had over a 90% alleged winning percentage in his Code Zebra plays;I don't care if it has been changed now to "only" 80%;I saw that 106-8 record posted last year myself at his website around this time.
5) The dozens of other wannabees who as I write this are trying to emulate above and/or come up with their own schemes to try to believe you that they are the "Second Coming" when it comes to picking winners.
