Florida – Willis +115 (3 Units) Please Note Time Change 1:05 pm EST

After getting smoked on Tuesday, the Marlins responded with a big 11-4 win on Wednesday bringing their record to 14-4 their last 18 games. They now sit 1.5 games ahead of the Phillies in the wild card race and a win on Thursday is huge before their weekend series at Atlanta. Dontrelle Willis takes the hill for Florida and after a huge start to his rookie season, he cooled off considerably in August. He has rebounded well in September with a 2.34 ERA in 3 starts and his lone start against the Phillies this year ended in a no-decision after pitching 6 innings of 3-hit ball. The Marlins are 17-7 +7.9 in his starts including an 8-3 +5.4 mark on the road. The Phillies are 4-5 their last 9 games and are 16-16 –9.2 in Millwood’s starts. Another pitcher who started the season great, Millwood has struggled the second half of the season going 6-8 with a 4.56 ERA. He was hit hard his last 2 starts and he is 5-7 with a 5.56 ERA in his career against Florida. The Marlins are 9-1 the last 10 meetings.
