The Kentucky Wildcats come into this game on an unbelievable
high. They just beat a top 10 team for the first time in almost 20
years. More importantly they beat hated rival Louisville, which
makes their whole season a success! The Razorbacks on the other

game they coverd as a 3.5 point doggie! Kentucky is ranked #21 and
Arkansas has dropped out of the top 25. This is the first year due
to NCAA restrictions that UK will have a full compliment of 85
scholarships players. Arkansas on the other hand returns arguably
the best running back combo in the nation in Doak Walker award
winner, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones, who ran for a total of 2800
yards last year. Still the program is surrounded by controversy
with last year's Offensive Coordinator and season opening starting
quarterback both departing. Fans of the PIG were so upset, only
2000 attended the spring game. Thus you see how important this
encounter is for Arkansas coach Houston Nutt.
Neither team has anyone challenging on deck. so we can
eliminate this as a sandwich game. UK is averaging 48 ppg, but have
fashioned that against Eastern Kentucky, Kent State and a Louisville
team that gave up 42 to Middle Tenn State. The Razorbacks have beat
a good Troy team by 3 touchdowns, and the loss to Bama. The people
who wanted Houston Nutt out for last season's late collapse and a
bowl loss (plus his supposed extra-marital affair) will be up in
arms should they lose. This game is EXTREMELY" important to McNutt,
and
Arkansas. There is no reason to panic, becaue McFadden (6.1 yds/c)
and Jones (8 yds/c) can carry the mail. UK is 1-7 ATS off a SU dog
win, when scoring more than 35 points.UA is 7-2 ATS as a home
favorite. Arkansas will be fired up and UK will be experiencing a
let down after last week's monumental win over the "VILLE". Lay the
"7" and the Razorbacks win and cover Saturday evening!
