The NFL season has now begun and the defending champions appear to be in good form as they defeat the Saints 41-10. Manning looked sharp for most of the game, and the Colts receivers continously burned the Saints secondary for big plays. Wayne and Harrison each caught long TD passes from Manning. Saints hang in the first half courtesy of a defensive TD and find themselves tied at 10 going into the break. 2nd half is all Colts as they score 31 points including a defensive TD of their own on their way to a rout.
King T Sports starts the season with a 1-0-1 +1.00 unit mark in the NFL as we had both the Colts and the OVER in this opener. Kind of surprised by the Saints lack of production as I expected a more balanced attack from them. They ran the ball fairly well in the first half, but could put nothing together with consistency. Saints will definitely need to improve if they expect a return trip to the playoffs.
For Sunday, I am offering a five play package that encompasses the entire of action. These are my top plays and should prove to be a solid slate for the opening week. MLB plays are currently in a funk. I have managed to lose almost half of the positive units gained. The current level of +23.63 is the lowest number in nearly a month and 18 units less than the season high. I am hoping to close strong and in the least gain some of those 18 units back. This is not the worse sample of plays I have turned in, and I feel safe in thinking that it won't......I have the confidence of knowing that I have made nice corrections in the past.
Took a break on Thursday in order to look back over the past month and make assessments about the outcomes and how they have differed from the prognostications in measurable mathematical terms. Hoping that this apraisal and "take stock" period will come through will positive results....I need them.
For Friday's free play I am backing the efforts of the Cardinals as they visit Arizona. Wainwright will take the ball for St Louis who now find themselves only 1 game out of the division lead. Webb for Arizona has possibly seen his hot streak end as he was touched up very early in last outing. Taking the feisty Cardinals in this spot getting a very generous price.
