Thursday's games were up and down and ended marginally ahead (+0.20 units) with a 3-3 record. Some fielding errors in key spots did in two of the plays (Baltimore and Texas), but got some help from poor fielding in the Toronto win. Winning plays from Thursday were Cleveland, Oakland, and Toronto. The three losers were Baltimore, Texas, and Atlanta. Even the marginal gain sets a new high mark for the plays at +40.93 units.
Doing some research, I noticed that my five top days so far have all occured after either losing or winning a nominal amount (less than 1/2 a unit). With that in mind, the plays today have a statistically higher chance of having a big day. Don't get me wrong, I'm not predicting a windfall....but there is a slightly higher chance than normal coming off a stale day.
The plays for Friday are handicapped and ready for delivery. You can pick up the slate of games for only $10, and they must produce a positive unit total or your money will be REFUNDED. This is a great way to sample a day of the plays and know you'll get your money back if the plays tank. The rest of the MLB season, including the playoffs is only $69.....and with one decent day that fee will be easily recouped. Another option is to purchase any of the football packages currently being offered, and I'll throw the MLB in for FREE. King T Sports continues to grow, and I would hope to deliver the goods for anyone thinking of giving my service a try.
Thursday's comp hit as Cleveland scored 3 in the 10th to win 3-1. For today's comp, I am looking to the start of the Mets series with the Dodgers. Mets bats seem to be solid, but they have had some serious bullpen problems....including last night in a 9-8 10 inning loss to the Padres. I am backing Perez in this game and here is why. First, he shut down the Dodgers in LA on 7-20 allowing only one run in 7.1 innings of work. Couple that with the fact Dodgers have gone threw some offensive swoons and to me this sets up as a nice situation for the Mets. Also, Penny is 5-10 lifetime against the Mets. The current price of -113 is reasonable and I will lay my money there.
