I don't necessarily have anything against spear (besides being so long-winded so often and not getting to the point).

But services, services are one thing I generalize about. I will always give advice to newer gamblers to NEVER buy a service, NEVER.

I agree 100% ... The only one's who should even think about using one is the individual that is working all day and does not know that much about sports and does not have the time to learn but wants action ... he also must have a good bankroll that he can afford to lose ...

I say with the utmost respect. You provide extensive feedback and reasoning on the majority of your picks.
I think that your intentions with your original post meant well.
You know that this forum has general disgust for services and so any post sheding light on the virture of service is going to get blood boiling around here.
And you continued to stir the pot and this forum's suscipions with your follow up comments...ie providing a "free pick" (Yankees ML) and "I will call later to see if they can have some special that members can jump on or maybe a taste.
Thats putting them on the spot - but I believe they are up to the task!"

It is wrong to compare the Ace/Ace picks/postings to this tout of Redzone as you were actually releasing Ace's picks to fade.
Whether you realize it or not your choice. By "consulting" Spark prior to original post you knew that you might open a can of worms on this forum, who are known to despise services.
I for one will not lose sleep over this issue, just my point of view.

I left thinking this thread was hijacked but more questions surfaced and I don't mind answering.
Yes- I try to give as much info on my picks and why I think it is worth my money to put on it. I generally invite any constructive criticism as it can make a different side to a story that can enhance a full picture.

As for Big Ticket- one added individual to Sparks answer. It would be guy like myself that is having a slow month at the office and has an enlarged budget due to a condo in Naples Fla that I inherited but is in probate.
I will keep my answers short (yeah right).
I have stated what went on from there and was happy with my trial month. But I still didn't buy into it and did not play some plays that I differed on. They provided an extra week after say 5 in a row hit. They all hit and so did Baltimore over Boston. But you heard this story.

BrezzeEase - Yes Blood boils from the members everywhere on the complete adsurdity of 99% of services and their continued lies and hype that I hate with a passion and my past posts will attest to.

I posted the free NY Yanks pick in gest because that is what these ass holes do. They give you Peavy and San Diego at -200 for a free pick and then say we are on fire. I threw RL in as an edit. Not sure why. I was probably was being cute but not serious in any way!

I posted in this sports services forum for the same reason the "underdog king and Charlie sports are frauds" were posted.

My thoughts were to emphasize my opinion of a positive or winning service- one that I personally had a month deal with and won on.

This thread then set off a chain reaction and resentment that had been chambering for some time concerning these flesh eating maggots (apparently "all" services)and emotions started to heat up concerning my attempt to bring forth such a concept of a service that could bring home the bacon.

I received a deal where if I got the football package - then they would add redzone late phones in bases as well. I thought if I got it why couldn't the members on this site get it as well. I felt the plays till super bowl was a good deal if I could validate their records somehow- I could not actually as I could not find them in conversation on any site. I know from past posts that Spark stated he respected Golden Contender and I believe that it helped sway me.

As far as Ace- Ace, I don't remember him as a fade in the early going - that is not my MO. I remember members taking his plays as posted.
I remember indian cowboy was also brought out and later faded as well.
The can of worms is apparent and that is the nature of dealing with services and getting burned as we all have!

The condo is not officially in my name as it takes over 6 months to get things straighten out. The condo is in Pelican Bay- very ritzy area. I have to keep up with about 2500 for mortgage, dues, taxes, etc.
Could rent it out- but I have to replace a water heater, sink and garbage disposal.
Plus I am 6 1/2 hours away driving.
I will consider getting it done and rented as the solution. Thanx for the thought- very nice of you!

This thread just makes me ill. I did not see it until now and i just didn't see this coming from him of all people i guess. As far as 13 in a row goes, at $1,000 or so, don't you need those streaks just to get the grand back and make a few bucks. Most gamblers do not bet any more than $100 a game and that puts them (0-9) -$990.00 to start basically. Alot more for guys who go $25-$50 a game. I just don't get it and never have. I talked to somebody about doing it once. I thought about it for about one minute and just couldn't do it.

Any information or thoughts i've had on games in my 45,000+ posts here was something i was excited to share with others. I just couldn't imagine asking guys i enjoyed talking sports with or conversing to "Write me a check" or "Give me your credit card number" and i'd LOVE to tell you what i like. Until then, i don't want to tell you. That's just something i can't do or promote. Hey, we are all wired differently i guess.
