July 14th, 2007
Friday the 13th proved to be a "lucky" day for this service as the slate of selections went 7-2 +6.35 units, with a little more luck 9-0 was in the crosshairs. KC scored in the top of the 9th to tie the game at 4 before losing 5-4, and Texas had many chances to take a lead before giving up a 9th inning run in a 2-1 loss. Six of the seven wins were by more than one run with the exception being the Blue Jays 6-5 win over Boston. In addition, the only true "favorite" play was a winner as Bedard dazzled again in a 2-0 win over the White Sox. Most of the games were lopsided and I wish all days were like this Friday the 13th.
The big day on Friday got the unit total to its "high water" mark of the season thus far at +6.96 after 10 sessions of action. I plan on doing a full recap and analysis of all plays after Sunday's action .....provided I have time, but that will aid in looking at which areas of the selections have been the strongest and should help looking ahead.
With all teams now back in action Saturday should be an exciting one to watch. Some good matchups and solid hurlers are taking to the diamond and I have ground up the numbers to a fine powder in hopes of following up Friday with another winning session. I feel confident, so let's hope this slate will add more coin to the pocket....by the way my first "runline" selection of the season in on the docket.
St Louis -- Maroth +165
Houston -- Oswalt +103
San Francisco -- Morris +115
Pittsburgh -- Gorzelanay +127
San Diego -- Young -134
Chicago(AL) -- Vazquez -102
Kansas City -- Meche +189
Boston -- Matsuzaka (-1.5) -115
Minnesota -- Silva -110
Texas -- Loe +192
Seattle -- Batista +110
GOOD LUCK all around on your action today, and be sure to check back often for solid MLB information.
