Minnesota Twins (-1.5) +110
I am going with the Minnesota Twins on the Run Line tonight as they host the Washington Nationals. The Twins were an incredible 16-2 during interleague play last season, tying the Boston Red Sox for the best interleague mark in baseball. Tonight Minnesota will hand the ball to right-hander Carlos Silva, who has posted a steller 2.53 ERA in 5 home starts. They will also be getting All-Star Catcher Joe Mauer back tonight for the first time in over a month. Mauer was a big reason for the Twins success in interleague play last season, hitting .492 in 15 games. Mauer and his teammates should have no problem scoring runs off struggling Nationals starter Jason Simontacchi who is 2-4, 5.61 ERA so far this season. Look for the Twins to ride Silva and Mauer to victory tonight at the Metrodome.
Good luck tonight, guys, and GO TWINS!!
