(Mays/Thompson) Texas has cooled off on the road the last week but they've been one of the better teams in Baseball the last month with a 20-10 record. At home Texas has won 11 of their last 12! and their also 4-1 in the last 5 against Minn including a 3 game sweep here in Texas in mid July. Thompson has been quite a pitcher the last few months as the Rangers have won 7 straight starts of his and 11 of his last 13. He threw a complete game shutout at the ChiSox in his last game. Mays on the other hand has been getting hammered pretty much all year as the Twins have gone 2-11 in his last 13 starts and I'm shocked they keep sending him out there when their in the hunt for a division title? He's 0-2 8.31 era in his last 3 outings. Look for Texas to return to their winning ways now that their back at home again.
