Today we like Atlanta (Hampton -150) against Arizona (Batista). The Braves are hotter than the sun right now, and so is Mike Hampton. The season opened poorly for Hampton, but he has really turned it on and has pitched like he did when he was with the Mets. He is 3-0 with a 2.28 Era over his last three starts, raising his season record now to 10-5 over twenty two starts. The DBacks just are not scoring, and that is a huge problem when you are facing an offense like the Braves. Batista is only 7-6, but owns a nice 2.78 Era on the season. What he does lack is run support and will not get it today against a resurgent Hampton either. This one gets off early (1PM EST), so we will start the day off right.
