UCLA has beaten the Arizona Wildcats four straight times and the fifth-ranked Bruins look for a fifth straight victory over Arizona when they face the No. 19 Wildcats in their home finale on Saturday. UCLA swept three meetings against Arizona last season and held on for a 73-69 victory on Jan. 20. UCLA, which is 4-3 on the road is one-half game ahead of No. 10 Washington State for first place in the conference and the Bruins realize that Saturday's game and a trip to face the Cougars on March 1st is significant in determining the PAC 10 champion and seeding for the March Madness Tournament. The Bruins haven't been a particularly good road team as they have not kept their composure and stayed poised without a support system (referring to their fans) behind them when they were tested this season. The UCLA junior guard Aaron Affalo is averaging 20.8 points while shooting nearly 60 percent over the last four meetings opposed to the Arizona senior point guard Mustafa Shakur averaging just 6.3 points and 4.3 assists over the last four matchups against the Bruins, shooting only 25 percent. Shakur and fellow senior Ivan Radenovic will be honored in a ceremony after their final home game today. The Wildcats have dropped three of their last four home games after committing 16 turnovers in an 80-75 loss to USC on Thursday allowing the Trojans to shot 50.8 percent becoming the third visiting opponent in the last four games to make at least half its shots at McKale Center. It will be an emotional Day for the Arizona Wildcats as they send their seniors off in their last home game of the season. This emotion will create a fast pace game and look for the senior Wildcat Shakur to play much better in his last game against the Bruins than he has in the previous four. Although the Wildcats will play much better on this emotional home finale, they still can't stop anybody as they are consistently allowing teams to shot over 50% on their home court.
