Our power ratings have this game evenly matched so we will gladly scoop up the points!! We catch the Cajuns in a great spot as they come in playing the 2nd game of B2B road games and off a huge and emotional win!! Teams in this spot have failed miserably going 2-13 SU and a PERFECT 0-15 ATS since 1994!! Meanwhile, in a very rare situation certain weekday home dogs are an incredible 8-1 SU and a PERFECT 9-0 ATS since 1994 when they have Arkansas State on deck!! Folks, as impressive as that come from behind win was against Houston don’t put too much stock in it!! The Cajuns caught Houston at the perfect time, off a14-13 emotional road loss against Miami U.!! The stars couldn’t have been lined up more perfectly for the Cajuns in that game and now the tables are turned tonight!! Both teams appear to be “battle-tested” as they have stepped up in competition, however, we give a huge advantage to FAU!! We will argue that NOBODY had a tougher start to their season than this FAU team!! FAU started the season with FIVE straight road games with the first 4 against huge BCS programs and the 5th their conference opener!! WOW!! How is that even fair?? It’s not!! However, we expect for FAU to benefit tremendously in conference play as a result and we will see this tonight!! We all know ULL is going to run because that’s what they do best and FAU’s weakness appears to be stopping it!! But seriously folks, despite giving up almost 185 yds/gm on the ground, FAU is not facing Clemson, Kansas State, Oklahoma State or even South Carolina tonight!! They are facing the same ULL they beat last year and tonight they will get a chance to do it again!! Look for FAU to stack the box and slow down ULL’s ground attack while their offense will get plenty of opportunities to keep the ULL defense off balance en route to the cover and possible outright win!! TAKE FLORIDA ATLANTIC TO THE BANK!!!!
