Detroit game under 9.5 5 unit play
We feel where catching major value on tonights game. First lets start with the under. We feel 9.5 is a great number to play under. Many people will see the Yankees line-up and assume runs, runs, and more runs without factoring in the pitching. We do believe that this yankee line-up is a strong one. Thats why we had the yanks last night on the run-line. However; tonight, we feel much different about their potential to put up runs against our man Verlander. Verlander(a power pitcher) started out the year lights out, we cashed many unders and sides when he toed the mound. He then started to wear down a liitle and lost that extra zip on his fastball. Well now folks, he is rested and the rest of the world that does not watch baseball everyday will realize this kid is the real deal. Overpowering fastball with a hammer for an out pitch. Realistically, he will get into some trouble, but has the tough stuff to get big strikeouts and work out of jams. Enough about him, lets talk about his mound opponent, Mike Mussina. Honestly this is not the old Mussina. Although we do feel he is still sharp, he will give up a few, but for the most part keep the tigers to about 3 or 4. The bullpen will come in and hold down as well. Looking for a 5-3 6-3 4-3 5-2 Tigers win.

Some of you may say, well u guys like tigers to win why not play the money line. Great point, we do love the tigers in this spot. We really feel Verlander holds it down tonight. Nasty, he will be. Believe in that. However; he can not pitch the whole game. Although we do like Detroit's bullpen, we feel much better with grabbing the run and a half leaving us with a little margin of error. Bottom line, this game will be low scoring, and to have a run and a half, provides us with major insurance.
